This special event, held on April 25, marked the last “official” event of our 2008-2009 after-school Good News Club year. Over 20 children came to First Baptist Church of Wright City (our sponsoring church) to take part this 3-hour activity. Before the GNC children went outside to enjoy the carnival activities, we had a short program for the 50+ people in attendance. The GNC children sang songs and recited Bible verses, our puppets performed and we presented the Gospel through a couple of object lessons. We are so grateful for the folks at First Baptist Church of Wright City who provided the snacks, prizes and workers for this event as well as for our weekly Good News Club.
